Andaman Scuba

Andaman Scuba runs out of Karon as a PADI 5-Star IDC Centre, which means the same operation that taught you Open Water can also take you through Divemaster and Instructor without switching shops. The Course Director runs IDCs three to four times a year, with continuous Divemaster intakes between them. That continuity is the main reason long-stay divers book here over the Patong volume shops.

Day trips run on shared speedboats to Racha Yai, Racha Noi, Shark Point and the King Cruiser, plus Phi Phi day trips. Recreational pricing sits in the standard Phuket mid-range. Suits divers who already know they want to go beyond Open Water, or anyone planning to come back for Divemaster or IDC later. Less suited to one-off holiday divers who don't care about a career path — the shop is structured around progression and prices accordingly.
