Gili Divers

Gili Divers positions itself at the budget end of Trawangan's PADI 5-star centres without dropping certification standards. Course prices sit at the lower end of the island range, and the on-site dorm-style accommodation keeps total cost down for divers on longer trips. The shop has a clear eco-leaning ethos — single-use plastic is avoided across the operation and the team contributes to reef-cleanup days on the south Trawangan reefs.

Local rates are quoted in IDR; THB-equivalent prices are shown here. The centre sits in the central section of Trawangan's main strip, walkable to the night market and ferry dock. Instructors teach in English, Indonesian, German and Dutch. Suits backpackers and longer-stay divers wanting a low-cost base with PADI certification and an environmental angle. Less suited to those wanting boutique accommodation, IDC-level progression or instructor ratios below the PADI maximum.
