What we are, and are not

• Top Dive Shops is an independent editorial ranking of dive operators. It is not a booking platform, a certification agency, or a dive operator.
• We earn a commission when you book a dive through our booking desk. Rankings cannot be bought. See how we earn money.
• Nothing on these sites is medical advice. Diving carries real risk; the operator's briefing and your own training apply.

Online dispute resolution

EU consumers can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to, and do not, take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board; we do try to solve any complaint by email first.

Our policies

• Privacy policy — what personal data we process, why, for how long, and your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, Thai PDPA).
• Cookie policy — the sites set no tracking cookies; third-party embeds load only after you allow them.
• Terms of use — the rules for using the sites and their content.
• Copyright and attribution — who owns what, photo credits, our open data licence, and how to request a takedown.
• How we earn money — commissions, no paid placement, no affiliate links in rankings.
• How the ranking works — the six criteria and their weights.
