Oceans 5 opened on Gili Air in 2008 and is the island's largest dive operation, holding full PADI 5-star Instructor Development Centre status. Gili Air sits between Trawangan and Meno in pace — quieter than Trawangan, with bars and restaurants but no late-night party strip, which suits divers who want evening options without the volume. The centre runs everything from try-dives through IDC and instructor specialties, with most course packages bundling on-site accommodation.

Local rates are quoted in IDR; THB-equivalent prices are shown here. Daily Open Water and Advanced starts run year-round, plus regular Divemaster and IDC intakes. Instructors teach in English, German, Dutch, French and Indonesian. Suits divers wanting the most complete course progression on the Gilis combined with a calmer island than Trawangan. Less suited to those after the cheapest option — pricing reflects the IDC capability and accommodation bundling.
