Mermaid 2 is one of the longer-running liveaboards in Indonesian waters, with a Komodo schedule covering the northern Apo Reef sites and the southern park down to Cannibal Rock and Manta Alley. Komodo is current country and Mermaid 2's briefings reflect that — reef hooks issued at boarding, SMB drills before the first dive, and proper briefing rather than skipping sites. Suits advanced drift divers, photographers, and divers who want full park access without Aggressor pricing. Skip if you have fewer than 30 logged dives, want a luxury hotel afloat, or are looking for a calm, no-current itinerary.
