Buddha View Dive Resort
Buddha View opened in Chalok Baan Kao in 1994 and is one of the original south-side dive resorts on Koh Tao. The site is a self-contained operation — on-site pool, accommodation across fan and AC tiers, restaurant and bar, equipment store and classrooms. Chalok itself is the quietest of the three main dive areas, with a beach setting that draws longer-stay divers and families rather than the party crowd at Sairee.
Pricing sits in the lower-mid range, similar to Sairee Cottage but with a quieter location. The course menu is broad and includes a tech-diving wing through TDI for those continuing past recreational limits. Suits divers who want a south-side resort feel with everything under one roof, longer stays, and a more relaxed atmosphere. Less suited to those who want walking-distance nightlife or boutique-style small groups.
