Local Dive Thailand sits in Karon and runs deliberately small. The hard cap is four divers per instructor across courses and fundives — no exceptions, no shared boats with twenty other students. Bookings are taken in advance rather than from walk-in foot traffic, which lets them keep the ratio consistent rather than fluctuating with high-season demand.

Day trips run on private speedboat charters to Racha Yai, Racha Noi, Shark Point and the King Cruiser, with Phi Phi day trips on a slightly bigger boat when bookings combine. Courses go from Try Scuba through Divemaster; no IDC. Suits divers willing to pay more for a small, quiet experience, or first-time learners who do better in tight groups. Less suited to last-minute walk-in bookings, large families wanting one big group, or anyone optimising on price.
