Sea Bees Diving
Sea Bees has been on Phuket since 1991, started by German owners and run as a German-Thai partnership ever since. The main base sits in Chalong with a second operation in Khao Lak for the Similan and Surin liveaboard season (roughly mid-October to mid-May). That dual setup is the differentiator — few Phuket shops have their own liveaboard programme rather than reselling someone else's berths.
Course volume is high but the operation is structured enough that group sizes stay close to four. German instruction is reliable, English and Thai are standard, and Scandinavian languages turn up seasonally. Suits divers planning a longer trip that combines training in Chalong with a Similan liveaboard later in the same booking. Less suited to budget travellers — pricing reflects the established name — or to anyone wanting a single quiet boutique base.
