Sea Fun Divers

Sea Fun Divers is a family-owned shop based on Kata Beach, running since the mid-1990s. The operation is mid-sized — bigger than a true boutique, smaller than the Patong volume shops — and has built its reputation on staff retention. Several of the instructors have been there for ten years or more, which shows in the briefings and the dive-site selection.

Environmental practice is a stated priority: reef-safe sunscreen rules on the boat, no-touch briefings, and active participation in regional reef monitoring programmes. Day trips cover Racha Yai, Racha Noi, Shark Point, Anemone Reef and Phi Phi. Courses run PADI from Try Scuba to Divemaster, plus a few specialty options including AWARE Fish ID. Suits divers who want a Kata base away from Patong noise and care about responsible operators. Less suited to anyone wanting tech diving or the cheapest possible course.
